From 18 November 2026 to 10 January 2027, the Botanical Garden is transformed into an evening landscape of lights. This season, Christmas Garden Berlin celebrates its tenth anniversary. A newly designed circular route has been announced, on which light installations and music work together to create a special atmosphere.
The evening walk leads past illuminated trees. The gardens are staged with sound and colour, and visitors can pause at any time and let all the impressions sink in. The circular route is about two kilometres long. You should allow around two hours for it.
The Ideal Location for the End-of-Year Team Event
Every year the search begins for a suitable event or location in Berlin to get together with the team once more at the end of the year. Perhaps this year it will be Christmas Garden? Here you are out and about together, have time for conversations and plenty to see along the circular route. You can talk now with one colleague, now with another, without being tied to a fixed seating plan all evening.

This is what your company outing for the end of the year could look like:
- 15:00 - Coffee at the Domäne Dahlem: Here the group can sit together comfortably and enjoy coffee and cake in the country inn on the historic manor farm. The house is normally open from Wednesday to Sunday; you should reserve places for the team in advance.
- 17:00 – Tour through Christmas Garden: Book a shared entry slot and allow around two hours for the light installations. Group tickets can be purchased on request.

For families, the Botanical Garden offers special family days for Christmas Garden, on which tickets are even cheaper for parents and children. The ticket costs 42.90 euros online for the whole family and 44.90 euros at the box office. They are valid for a single visit with up to five family members.
- Dates: 18 and 25 November, 1 and 8 December 2026 as well as 6 January 2027.
- Possible combination: Two adults with one to three children, or one adult with one to four children aged 6 to 14.
- Saving: Depending on family size, up to 66 per cent compared with buying individual tickets. Further discounts are not possible.
For privately organised outings, too, it is often worth booking a bus shuttle. Family members often live further away, travel by train or plane and then need to be picked up from the station or airport. Christmas Garden is an event that takes place entirely outdoors. You should therefore be equipped with warm, weatherproof clothing and shoes that give you a firm footing. You can also visit Christmas Garden in the rain.
